# Heating & Air Conditioning in Scripps Ranch, CA | CrossBreeze Heating & Air > Scripps Ranch is an inland bedroom community east of Interstate 15, and out here the air conditioner does more of the work than it does near the beach. ## Serving Scripps Ranch and Surrounding Areas Scripps Ranch is inland, about 9 miles from the coast, east of Interstate 15 and north of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. That far from the water the ocean air does not do much for you, so the AC carries more of the load through summer and a system that is not keeping up gets noticed fast. Miramar Reservoir sits inside the community, and the mature eucalyptus along Pomerado Road are what most people picture. CrossBreeze is no more than about 27 minutes away by road from the shop in Mira Mesa next door. CrossBreeze works throughout Scripps Ranch, from Miramar Ranch North to Scripps Miramar Ranch and the homes near Miramar Reservoir. Out here AC repair and AC installation and replacement are the most common calls, and ducting and zoning helps larger homes cool evenly instead of leaving one end warm. Whole house fans and attic fans pull heat out of the house in the evening so the AC does not have to run all night. A heat pump handles heating and cooling in one system, and for a lot of homes that is the right fit. We also do furnace and heating repair, mini split installation, and HVAC maintenance and tune ups. When you call, Eddie comes out, looks at what you have, and gives you a straight number before any work starts. Kababayan in Scripps Ranch are welcome to call, and so is everyone else. Eddie walks the house before anything is ordered. Square footage, ducting, insulation, windows and how you use the house all go into the size, and the system gets sized off the house instead of matched to whatever was there before. An oversized unit short cycles and wears itself out early, which is why the walkthrough comes first. ### Will you try to sell me a new furnace if mine can be repaired? Eddie looks at the furnace, tells you what failed, and gives you a straight number for the repair. If the honest answer is that the system is past repairing, you hear that too. Heat exchanger problems get explained as a safety question rather than an upsell. ## Book a Visit in Scripps Ranch - Business: CrossBreeze Heating & Air - Address: 9014 Flanders Dr, San Diego, CA 92126 - Phone: 760-715-0523 - Email: cbha.info@gmail.com - Website: https://crossbreezehvac.com - Request a quote: https://crossbreezehvac.com/contact ### Hours - Monday: 8am to 5pm - Tuesday: 8am to 5pm - Wednesday: 8am to 5pm - Thursday: 8am to 5pm - Friday: 8am to 5pm - Saturday: 9am to 4pm - Sunday: 9am to 4pm CrossBreeze is not a 24 hour emergency service.
