# Your Local Mira Mesa HVAC Contractor | CrossBreeze Heating & Air > Eddie's shop is on Flanders Dr, so when you call CrossBreeze from Mira Mesa you are calling a neighbor about a mile away. ## Mira Mesa is Where We Start Every Day Mira Mesa is home. CrossBreeze is based at 9014 Flanders Dr, so most of the community is about 3 minutes from the shop by road, roughly a mile out. Mira Mesa sits near the coast, about 7 miles from the water, close enough that outdoor units pick up some coastal air over the years. Homes here go back to the housing boom that started in 1969, and there are more than 23,000 of them, so there is a lot of equipment out there getting older. That is most of what we work on. CrossBreeze works all over Mira Mesa, from the homes near Sorrento Valley and Sorrento Mesa to the streets along Miramar and up toward Scripps Ranch. A heat pump does the heating and cooling in one unit, and it is a good fit for a lot of the houses we see here. For older homes and rooms that never cooled right, mini split installation is a clean fix. We also handle AC repair, furnace and heating repair, HVAC maintenance and tune ups, whole house fans, attic fans, and ducting and zoning. A visit is simple. Eddie comes out, looks at what you have, explains what he sees, and gives you a straight number before any work starts. Kababayan in Mira Mesa call CrossBreeze, and everyone is welcome. Licensed C20, CSLB #1055889, with a 5.0 rating on 26 Google reviews. ### Areas We Cover Around Mira Mesa - Sorrento Valley - Sorrento Mesa - Miramar - [Scripps Ranch](https://crossbreezehvac.com/locations/scripps-ranch.md) ### Local Service Area Our shop is at 9014 Flanders Dr, and it has been since 2018. Eddie's shop is at 9014 Flanders Dr in Mira Mesa, so Mira Mesa is home turf, and the drive to most streets here is a few minutes. ### When can I reach you for a Mira Mesa service call? We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm. We are not a 24 hour emergency service, so if a system quits at midnight the honest answer is that we will see you in the morning, and we book same or next day where the schedule allows. ### How do I get a quote in Mira Mesa? Call 760-715-0523 or send a message and Eddie comes out to look at what you have. CrossBreeze does not quote a price sight unseen, because the right number depends on the size of the system your home needs and the shape your ducting is in. You get a straight number before any work starts. ### Do you offer financing for Mira Mesa homeowners? Yes. Financing is available at 2.99% through Housecall Pro, or you can put 50% down and take one to three years to pay the rest. ### Are you licensed and insured? Yes. CrossBreeze holds California C20 heating and air conditioning license CSLB #1055889, issued in 2019, carries a contractor bond and workers compensation, and is rated 5.0 stars across 26 Google reviews. ### What services do you offer in Mira Mesa? Here is the full list, in Mira Mesa and everywhere we work. AC Repair, Mini Split Installation, AC Installation & Replacement, Furnace & Heating Repair, HVAC Maintenance & Tune Ups, Whole House Fan, Heat Pump Installation, Attic Fan Installation, Ducting & Zoning. Homes, new construction and light commercial. ### Do you install new AC systems in Mira Mesa? Yes. CrossBreeze works out of Mira Mesa and installs and replaces AC systems across the 92126 and 92121 zips. Eddie comes out, looks at what you have, and gives you a straight number before anything is ordered. We do not quote a price sight unseen. Financing runs 2.99% through Housecall Pro, or 50% down with the balance paid over one to three years. ### What is involved in a complete AC system replacement? The old equipment comes out and a new system goes in, usually the outdoor condenser plus the indoor furnace or air handler and coil. The ducting gets looked at in the same visit, because a new system pushing air through bad ducts does not fix the room that was always hot. We size off the house rather than matching whatever was there before, then commission it: charge verified, airflow balanced, thermostat set up with you. ### Who installs ductless mini splits in Mira Mesa? CrossBreeze does. We install Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Daikin and Samsung mini splits, single head or multi head off one outdoor unit, and we service mini splits we did not install. Eddie surveys the room himself before anyone quotes a head. Call 760-715-0523. ### How much does ductless mini split installation cost in Mira Mesa? It depends on how many heads the space needs, where the line set has to run, and which equipment you pick, so we do not publish a price. Eddie looks at the room first and gives you a straight number before any work starts. Financing is available at 2.99% through Housecall Pro, or 50% down over one to three years. ### What does a whole house fan do that air conditioning does not? A whole house fan pulls cool outside air in through open windows and pushes the hot air the house has been holding out through the attic vents. It is not air conditioning and it does not replace it. It works on the evening air instead of compressor time. The attic has to have enough vent area to exhaust it, so Eddie looks at the attic before anything is quoted. ### Do you offer emergency furnace repair in Mira Mesa? We are open seven days a week, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm. We are not a 24 hour emergency service. Call 760-715-0523 during those hours and we will get you on the schedule. ## Book a Visit in Mira Mesa - Business: CrossBreeze Heating & Air - Address: 9014 Flanders Dr, San Diego, CA 92126 - Phone: 760-715-0523 - Email: cbha.info@gmail.com - Website: https://crossbreezehvac.com - Request a quote: https://crossbreezehvac.com/contact ### Hours - Monday: 8am to 5pm - Tuesday: 8am to 5pm - Wednesday: 8am to 5pm - Thursday: 8am to 5pm - Friday: 8am to 5pm - Saturday: 9am to 4pm - Sunday: 9am to 4pm CrossBreeze is not a 24 hour emergency service.
