# Heating & Air Conditioning in Encinitas, CA | CrossBreeze Heating & Air > Encinitas runs on May Gray and June Gloom in spring and 75 to 85 F afternoons through the dry season, about as mild as it gets. ## Serving Encinitas and Surrounding Areas Encinitas is a beach city in North County, right on the coast, with a very mild climate and an average daily high of 72 F. May Gray and June Gloom hang over the coast in spring, then the dry season runs summer through fall at 75 to 85 F. Homes here need steady, efficient heating and cooling rather than brute force, and salt air on outdoor units is the bigger long term problem. Of the 26,408 housing units at the 2020 census, 65 percent were owner occupied. CrossBreeze is about 28 minutes from Mira Mesa. We cover the whole city, from Old Encinitas along Coast Highway 101 to New Encinitas and Village Park over the ridge, Leucadia and Cardiff-by-the-Sea on the water, and Olivenhain out east. Old Encinitas has a mix of housing styles, and where there is no room for ductwork Mini Split Installation is usually the right answer. With winters this mild, Heat Pump Installation covers heating and cooling in one unit for the single family homes in Leucadia and Olivenhain. Salt air is hard on outdoor equipment, so HVAC Maintenance & Tune Ups pay for themselves along the coast, and we handle AC Repair, Furnace & Heating Repair, and Ducting & Zoning throughout Encinitas. A Whole House Fan works well here, pulling cool evening air through the house instead of running the AC. Eddie comes out, looks at what you have, and gives you a straight number before any work starts. CrossBreeze is C20 licensed, CSLB #1055889, with a 5.0 rating on 26 Google reviews. ### Areas We Cover Around Encinitas - Old Encinitas - New Encinitas - Village Park - Leucadia - Cardiff-by-the-Sea - Olivenhain ### Local Service Area Based in Mira Mesa, San Diego since 2018.
